GTT and Pipechina Innovation sign cooperation agreement on GTT'S Membrane Technology for Next-Generation Onshore Tanks
Paris- Beijing, On the occasion of French President Emmanuel Macron's visit to Beijing, China, and in the presence of Chinese President Xi Jinping, GTT and PipeChina Engineering Technology Innovation Co. Ltd (PipeChina Innovation) signed a cooperation agreement for the evaluation of GTT's LNG membrane total integrity storage technology, called GST ® technology ,to promote it for PipeChina's future LNG terminal projects. Supported by the PipeChina group, the main public energy company in China, this cooperation agreement was signed by Jianhua Qi, President of PipeChina Innovation and Adnan Ezzarhouni, General Manager of GTT China.
PipeChina Group currently operates seven LNG receiving terminals in China and three more terminals are under construction. As the largest LNG infrastructure operator in China, PipeChina Group aims to develop new projects by adopting the latest and greenest technologies.
Jianhua Qi, President of PipeChina Innovation, said, “ We are very happy to materialize the collaboration with GTT during this presidential visit. We want to conduct a thorough evaluation of their state-of-the-art membrane technology for onshore LNG storage for further adoption in PipeChina's LNG projects. We look forward to a greener and more sustainable LNG storage solution.”
Adnan Ezzarhouni, Managing Director of GTT China, commented: “We are very pleased that PipeChina has shown its confidence in us through this collaboration.
